This “smoking technique” can be added to your existing protocol and easily adapted to your style. It is intended to be a fun way to help clients use their “breathing skill” to experience freedom from a habit.
Once the change is made in conversational hypnosis, you will have gathered information about the client’s B.S. (Belief System) around how they run their habit. You will know how the habit is hurting them (and what it’s doing for them) and the benefits (leverage) they expect from the change.
Typically, the change is made in conversation so there’s no resistance. It is then followed by an eyes-closed process to solidify the new perspective.
This Fork-In-The-Road concept adds a little aversion and a lot of motivation to take the RIGHT road to success. It is a wonderful metaphor for most binary (either/or - good/bad) change work.
