That form can then be used in follow-up sessions to get you into the client zone with one quick glance.

You may find some clients who are quite steady in their preferred lead communication style and personal trance words. They may vary only in degrees of change each week. You may find other clients who vary even within a session according to context or mood. No two people think or strategize exactly alike. Part of the joy in our business is in getting to take an intimate peek into the always interesting and sometimes entertaining neural pathways a human mind can take to create reality out of received information. The success of the communication is in the response received. For Communication Cues notice Body Language, Style of dress, and use of language. For Motivation Strategies listen to client language and stories. Client outcome may change or remain the same for their specific reason for change work. Personal Trance Words can be elicited during conversation. Each of the listed areas can work well as a break state to move a client from a stuck state to a resource state. Asking, as an example, “What’s your hobby?” and “What makes that enjoyable for you?” give you a chance to listen for value words from your client. They may answer with phrases such as, “it’s fun.” , “I can learn something from it.”, “It’s total freedom.” The more you sprinkle in the client’s values using their personal trance words, the more your suggestions are received favorably. |
